What is the Ariadne® font?

D. Stempel AG released Gudrun Zapf von Hesse’s Ariadne in 1952. Ariadne is purely calligraphic, a set of flourished italic capitals in the Renaissance style. It is best used for initials in chapter openings, book titles, and advertisements.
