What is the Bodonian Script font?

Bodonian Script is a set of seven fonts that can be mixed with each other freely. Number 1 is the most true to Bodoni. Number 2, 3, 4 and 6 have different capital letterforms. Number 5 is like 4 but with elaborate swashes. Number 7 has underlining swash-capitals and lowercase end-letters. The fonts can also be mixed with my »Bodoni Classic« fonts! IMPORTANT: In Microsoft-Word or Wordpad you will run into problems with the long decenders and ascenders. This can not be changed!!! I advise you not to use these fonts with that software. More… Some of the accents are different in different fonts as well as the ligatures and the ampersands. These Bodonian fonts have the biggest variety of letterforms in any of my scripts. I packed them in 7 single packets so that they can be used as single cuts as well as mixed. You need to have opentype-savy software only if you want to use the ligatures automatically, otherwise everybody can use these scripts. Have fun! Your Bodonian type-designer Gert Wiescher
