What is the Conto Slab font?

Conto Slab - the robust sister of the sans serif Conto. Conto Slab is an individual and significant slab serif typeface in eight weights. Like Conto, it is mainly designed for corporate identity, editorial and advertising design — and, like Conto, an extensive set of more than a hundred ligatures make the typeface useful for logotypes and lettering. Its minimalist and simplified lowercase forms, combined with contrast that ranges from the mono-linear in the thin to the pronounced in the bold and spiced with slab serifs, mark Conto Slab as a striking companion or alternative to Conto. More… And check out the extraordinary italics! These aren’t the slanted obliques of a slab serif, they are a unique mixture of real italics and oblique shapes.
