What is the Fusaka® font?

Fusaka was created by graphic designer and P22 type foundry co-founder, Michael Want. Fusaka is a highly original and specialized display typeface which bridges Kanji and Roman letterform styles. As in Kanji, each character fits into a square. This accentuates the first-glance appearance of Fusaka as Chinese or Japanese and allows it to be set either horizontally or vertically. Use Fusaka for a unique and surprising effect on CD covers, magazine headlines, book titles and Web sites. U.S. Patent Design 405,106.
