What is the ITC Ozwald™ font?

ITC Ozwald joins its close relative Cooper Black in the family of heavy display faces. ITC Ozwald comes from the lineage known as “Fat Face” types, but informal, curvaceous, and exaggerated shapes mark it as less severe than most of its cousins and give the face its individuality. ITC Ozwald was designed in 1992 by David Farey, who based his work on Ozwald Cooper’s 1929 Cooper Fullface, among the last faces made by the Barnhart Brothers and Spindler typefoundry.
