What is the Public Notice JNL font?

Public Notice JNL is based on a wood type alphabet originally shown in George Nesbitt’s 1838 catalog as “Gothic”. The image sample used for a model had only the basic A-Z characters an ampersand an an exclamation point, so numbers and additional characters were designed and added to the digital version.
