Steelers are an American based football team located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1933 and is the oldest franchise in the American Football Conference. The Steelers has an iconic logo which adorns many sports clothing the world over. The font used for the logo of Steelers is Gunplay font. Gunplay is a hard-nosed stencil font inspired by the poster for the 1972 Steve McQueen/Ali MacGraw film, The Getaway. Designed by the famous font designer Ray Larabie for Typodermic Fonts, Gunplay is a perfect tilting typeface that has many variations and uses. The Steelers Font Family (aka Gunplay) has two distinctive styles including RG and 3d.
